As a designer, I have prioritised and honed my research skills by thoroughly analysing source material and researching key historical connections. By carefully extracting this information, I am able to create informed and suitable designs which hold deeper meanings and communicate the client’s message through each aspect of the design. My ability to articulate hidden details in my design concepts allows me to demonstrate the reasoning behind certain design choices, enabling a knowledgeable design process with the client.

Due to my focus on graphic design, I have grown my knowledge and skills amongst a range of software such as Adobe Photoshop and Concepts. I have successfully created engaging designs within Adobe Photoshop and refined drawings in Concepts. This proficiency in different software allows me to create a range of work that is able to meet varying design briefs all to a high standard.

Throughout my work, I have demonstrated excellent collaboration skills by responding to feedback and suggestions given by my peers. This has resulted in more refined concept designs that respond well to the brief that has been presented. Furthermore, I have presented feedback and shared knowledge to other designers to support the development of their own work.

I have demonstrated strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail when managing large projects with short deadlines. By monitoring the development of the design concept against the design brief and personal expectations of the project, I am able to verify the final design is of the correct quality. I am confident in my ability to create complex and appealing graphics that can be connected to by a client, engage customers and hold deeper meanings.
